The Documents Needed for the Interview

The consul interview is the last step to determine an individual’s eligibility to be allowed entry into the United States. There can be all sorts of questions that can be propounded but mainly the veracity of the documents submitted would be the central theme to the interview.

After the issuance of the spouse visa, in case there are dependents remaining in the foreign country, a dependent visa application needs to be filed. • Statements from employers of either or both beneficiary and petitioner, preferably in company letterheads, indicating the marital status claimed, dependents claimed and person to inform in case of emergency;
• Affidavits from at least two individuals signifying the length of time the petitioner and beneficiary have been residing in marital bliss;
• All other evidence that establishes the existence of the marital relationship and bond.
